Hi! Thank you for visiting and reading stories shared here. I'm Ellen.
I'm a wife, a speech-language pathologist, a daughter, a sister, an artist. I have the best friends in the world. I love to eat and drink strong coffee and go googly eyed at fresh flowers. I love books and libraries and old homes.
I love to quilt.
I didn't learn to sew when I was little or build my way up to making quilts. Apart from experimenting with cloth napkins in order to figure out how in the heck you use a sewing machine, I jumped right in. I started making my first quilt with my grandma in the fall of 2015. I haven't stopped since.
I learned (and still currently work) on a old Singer machine that my mom bought with a tax return when I was a baby.
I'm a Quilter. I'm a Maker.
I'm happy you're here!
